Massachusetts General Hospital

Since 1892 The Vincent Club has raised millions of dollars in unrestricted fund for the Vincent Memorial Hospital, the founding institution of the Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service of the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Established in 1890 with just ten beds, two physicians and a dedication to treating “sick and indigent women” the Service is now a world leader in women’s health and OB/GYN treatment.

Under the leadership of Isaac Schiff, MD the Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service is internationally recognized for clinical excellence and research innovations that are transforming the field of women’s health.

The Vincent Memorial Hospital is also hailed as one of the leading voices in women’s health education, expanding knowledge through the training of young clinicians and scientists and serving as an informational resource for women everywhere.

U.S. News and World Report’s Annual Guide to America’s Best hospitals consistently ranks MGH among the top hospitals in the country and its OB/GYN service in the top one percent in the nation.  The Vincent Obstetrical Service is the largest single-faculty practice in New England.  The Vincent Center from Reproductive Biology, which is pioneer research on infertility, aging and cancers, publishes its trailblazing results in leading medical journals.
